In 2001, Fouad Mahmud and T.B. Ranganadhan formed a geomatics engineering company with a focus on providing high quality, responsive land survey service to serve UAE and the Middle East.

Incorporated as Ard Topographics, the company has since become a professional services leader in the United Arab Emirates and beyond, and remains a direct reflection of the founders’ vision and entrepreneurial spirit.

In the beginning, Ard Topographics was primarily a topographic surveying company, the company steadily expanded the scope of operations to embrace all of the traditional land survey and hydrographic surveying disciplines, as well as geographical information systems (GIS). The company name was changed to Ard Geographics in 2008 to represent this growth.

Ard Geographics has set its sights on a single goal, to be the best surveying and mapping firm in the Middle East. The company remains true to its focus as geomatics professionals, committed to integrity, timeliness and cost effective solutions for the clients.
